It’s March 1.
Today is “World Compliment Day.”  What are some unique compliments you can throw to your friends today?

Trivial Fact of the Day:   The yo-yo originated in the Philippines, but it was used as a weapon, not a toy.  Have you ever been bonked in the head by your own yo-yo?
Interesting Quote of the Day:  You know you're old when someone compliments you on your alligator shoes, and you're barefoot. ”  --Phyllis Diller (American comedienne)
Vocabulary Word of the Day:  felicitate (verb) –here’s a fancy action word that can be used as a synonym for congratulate or compliment.  Find an opportunity today to felicitate someone you’ve never felicitated before!

Terrific Tuesday!!
We are going to continue working on our Mapping Labs. Mapping Labs 3 & 4. Be sure you read carefully because there will be a QUIZ over Lab 3. Now, open your notebook. Go to a clean sheet. Title it: I can.. Statements. Wait for the warm-up.
